Here at Godinez316, I infuse ingredients from local Filipino traditions into other vibrant flavors of the world in order to create original product recipes that I believe in and enjoy. I am passionate about creating recipes rooted in and inspired by the richness of Filipino culture, and am confident that the flavors I've created also appeal to the hearts and palates of a global audience.
This food journey began in 2019 with my Chorizo de Bilbao. The concept of Chorizo de Bilbao was not original to me, but I altered the recipe to make it my own, and have a nuanced flavor profile which appealed more to my Filipino-forward palate. In 2020, I ventured into creating my own version of a popular regional sausage called Chorizo de Cebu. After two years on the market, I am proud to say that my Cebu Style Chorizo is one of the top 10 repeat orders in all stores in which it is sold. In December of 2024, I introduced my newest product, Linguiza Filipina. (It is not a Longganisa!) The basis of this flavor profile is inspired by Portuguese Linguiça, and has been modified to lean into a more East/Southeast Asian/Filipino umami.
When I create sausage recipes, I think first about what the Filipino consumer will enjoy. I always use only the highest quality, natural ingredients.
